Privacy Policy

Verified Cleaners is a cleaning business in Ottawa, Ontario. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, what we do with it, and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
We only collect information when you choose to submit one of our forms:
- Booking form: your name, email, phone number and the address to be cleaned (with postal code), plus the details of the clean you choose: home size, type of clean, how often, extras, a preferred date, any special instructions, how you heard about us, and the price estimate you saw.
- Contact form: your name and email, and if you give them, your phone number, a subject and your message.
Just visiting the site collects nothing about you. We use no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or tracking tools.
How we use it
Only to respond to your service request: to reply to your message, confirm your booking and price, show up at the right address, send your invoice, and come back if you use our satisfaction guarantee. We don't send marketing emails.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information, and we only share it with the service providers below, who handle it for us.
The service that runs our website: our forms are processed by Netlify Forms, which receives your submission and passes it to us by email. Netlify handles it for us under its own privacy policy (netlify.com/privacy) and may store it on servers outside Canada, including in the United States.
To send you an automatic “we received your request” email, we pass your first name, email address and the options you chose (not your address, phone number or notes) to our email provider, Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), under its privacy policy (brevo.com). Brevo stores data in the European Union.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and invoice records only as long as Canadian tax rules require (generally six years). Messages that don't turn into a booking are deleted once we no longer need them to answer you.
Keeping it safe
Our site only works over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and only the people who need your information to serve you can see it.
Deleting or checking your data
To request deletion of your data, email hello@verifiedclean.ca. You can also ask to see what we hold about you or to correct it. We'll reply within 30 days. We may need to keep invoices that tax law requires us to keep, and we'll tell you if so.
