How is my price calculated?

Your price is based on your home size and number of bathrooms, the type of clean, how often you book, and any extras you add. Use the instant quote to see it straight away. All prices are shown before 13% HST, and the exact price is confirmed before your first visit.

How long will my clean take?

It depends on your home size and the type of clean. A regular clean takes about 2.5 hours for a studio up to 4.5 hours for 5+ bedrooms, each extra bathroom adds about 30 minutes, and each extra adds about an hour. A deep clean takes about 1.5 times as long. The instant quote shows the estimated time for your home.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?

Yes, for every home clean. We bring all cleaning products, mops, vacuums and equipment, so you don’t need to provide anything. For commercial and office cleaning, supplies are confirmed as part of your custom quote.

How do recurring discounts work?

Book monthly to save 5%, bi-weekly to save 10%, or weekly to save 15%. Your first clean is charged at the full price, and the discount applies from your second visit onward. If your first visit is a deep clean, the visits after it are regular cleans at your discounted rate.

What’s included in a move-in / move-out clean?

Everything in our deep clean, plus the inside of the oven, fridge, cabinets and drawers, so you won’t be charged for those as extras. The home should be empty of belongings for a move-out, and we recommend booking a move-in before your furniture arrives.

What if I’m not happy with my clean?

Let us know within 24 hours of your clean and we’ll return within 48 hours to make it right at no charge. No questions asked.

Are your cleaners insured and screened?

Yes. We hold Commercial General Liability insurance, every cleaner has a police record check on file through the Ottawa Police Service, and identity is verified before any client contact.

Which areas do you serve?

All Ottawa neighbourhoods, including Centretown, The Glebe, Westboro, Hintonburg, ByWard Market, Orléans, Barrhaven, Kanata, Alta Vista, South Keys, Nepean and Vanier.

How do I pay?

We accept Interac e-Transfer and cash. You’ll receive an invoice after every clean.

How do I cancel or reschedule?

Call or text 613-854-5560, or email hello@verifiedclean.ca, at least 24 hours before your appointment. There’s no fee with 24 hours’ notice. With less notice, or if we can’t get in on the day, a fee of 50% of the clean applies (we always wait 15 minutes and try to reach you first). See our Terms of Service.

Do I need to be home during the clean?

No. As long as we have access to the property, you don’t need to be present.

Is there a contract or commitment?

Not for home cleaning. One-time and recurring home cleans need no contract, and you can cancel or change your schedule anytime. Ongoing commercial and small-business cleaning is arranged under a service contract, which we agree with you as part of your custom quote.

Do you clean offices, Airbnbs or after renovations?

Yes. Commercial and office spaces, short-term rentals and post-construction cleans are quoted individually. In the quote form, choose “Something else?” and tell us what you need.

What days are you available?

Monday to Friday 8 am – 6 pm and Saturday 9 am – 4 pm. We’re closed on Sundays. Commercial cleaning can be scheduled after hours on request.

Is there anything you don’t clean?

We don’t offer industrial cleaning, biohazard cleanup or exterior window cleaning. If you’re not sure whether a job fits, send us a message and we’ll let you know.
